Used Oil Tanks
Oil storage capacity eliminates the need for multiple small containers and centralizes used oil storage for space and time savings. Our steel waste oil tanks come in single or double wall designs and meet UL 142 standards. Double wall tanks are available with the STI Flameshield label and can also be manufactured to meet the UL 2085 standard, depending on site and fire marshal requirements.
Construction
Our steel waste oil tanks are available in mild carbon or stainless steel. Customers who need stainless steel tank may consider a mild carbon steel with an internal liner as a lower cost option.
Choices of bottom supports for these used oil tanks include U-shaped supports with heavy-duty swivel casters, L-shaped feet, channel iron bases, I-beam skids, and forklift pockets.
Options
The coating is exterior zinc red oxide primer. Customers can choose from six top coat color options. In addition, options are available for spill prevention, safety and ease of use. One of those options, which is beneficial for steel waste oil tanks, is a large top funnel, which features a lockable hatch and debris screen. This component offers convenience for draining sludge and other waste oil.
